whooooaaa nellie...it dun been a long time y'all. where did the summer go? i can't believe september is here already. sorry for the long delay. kind of seems like i never had a summer between taking classes until a week ago and the weather being so crappy it seemed more like march.
we are back from spending a very lovely few days at the cape for labor day weekend, and i don't have one complaint about the weather..beautiful, sunny, warm, 70's...poifecto. it was a much needed short break between classes...i start up again tomorrow sadly.
the biggest news of all (i'm sure most people reading this already know..sorry for the repeat)is that my mistah is gainfully employed now for at least the next year.
this place gave him a year long contract complete with a very nice salary and all the fixings, and we both could not be more thrilled. it's a bit of a commute but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end :)
i took the next few days off of work to write two papers for a summer class that i Had to take an incomplete on thanks to my migraine saga. it's hard enough writing papers during the class, let alone two months after it ended....oiiiiy vey...needless to say this is one of my many procrastination techniques.
in fact this evening i have found several creative ways to procrastinate. one was to make pizzas for the hubby after his first day of work, one was to actually wash, dry, fold and put away all of our laundry for once, and another was the discovery of ?
this website which is hopefully the website of our future president. considering i have two close friends that have sworn they will leave the US once and for all if he is not elected in November, I am trying to do everything to get him elected. and i also think he's wicked cool. so go on...look around...buy some t-shirts, bumper stickers, posters, ring tones, wallpapers, etc.
meanwhile...no words can say how ridiculous this
this is...unreal...and to think people still might vote for them...after all, she does hunt moose and drive a snow mobile...she's just like us plan folk, right?
